User Reviews about Sansui 32-Inch LCD HDTV DVD Combo
I am very pleased with this TV. It is extremely easy to set up and use and the light weight makes it easy to lift and move. Also, having a built-in DVD player is so convenient I wonder why more TV's are not made that way; there are no connecting wires and you only need a single remote. The instruction manual is short and easy to understand and the on-screen set-up and adjustments are a breeze. I would buy this TV again in a minute. -- Sansui 32-inch HDTV/DVD combo
The first feature that impresses is the light weight. I wasn't even sure there was a TV in the box. It was easily installed and has great sound quality with a reasonably good picture. What surprised me was the remote - which looks like the inexpensive all-purpose variety - except this one is very user friendly and sensitive - you clutch it with even a little pressure and a feature pops up on the screen. All things considered, I do recommend this product. -- Good buy
So far I am very happy with this TV. I bought this for my mother who likes to watch TV and DVDs, but gets confused when there is more than one remote, which is why I purchased a TV/DVD combo. It has a great picture, great sound and is reasonably priced. And my mother finds it easy to use. There is one thing that bugs me about the TV. My mother lives in the country and so her reception is over the air. When you use the remote to change channels, if you press 2 on the remote, you will get analog channel 2 even though the TV has not been programmed to receive analog channel 2. In order to get the digital channel 2, you have to press 2, dash (-), 0, 0, 1 to get digital channel 2-001. So you have to press 5 keys to get to the channel you want. On my other TVs, when I press 2 on the remote, it goes to 2-001. The only way around this (and yes, I did read the manual) is to press 2, wait until it changes to analog 2, then press channel up to get to 2-001. Now the only thing left to judge this TV is how long it lasts and hopefully it will be at least several years before I have an answer for that. -- Almost Great
This was a real surprise. We have two other HDTV's in the house from more noted brands. This outshines them all at a fraction of the price. The DVD is just a bonus!! -- Great Product-Great Price
