I just have it in the kitchen on top of the refrigerator as a second tv. It's beautiful, yet unobtrusive and easily moveable. I find myself watching it more than I expected because the picture is stunning. -- Very pleased

I purchased this model to use it primarily as a digital photo viewer. I have not been impressed with many digital photo frames, and the largest ones are only about 17 inches (diagonal). They are also fairly expensive. So, when I read that this 19 inch HDTV had a built-in card reader, as well as a USB port, and could double as a digital photo frame, I was very excited. With a 720p resolution, the display should be great. Well, not so fast, my friend. The biggest problem is that the card reader and USB port are tied into the DVD player. In fact, the TV goes into DVD mode when a card is recognized. But the resolution of DVD's, and therefore that mode, is an underwhelming 480p (640x480). So, even though the TV will display jpegs up to 1280x1024 from those sources, they only display as 640x480, which is very low. The result is jagged lines, and a very disappointing overall display. Even the colors in that mode are not good. The good news is that you can hook up a computer (via VGA port), or an external HD media player (via HDMI or component), and get the full 720p resolution of the same pictures. They look great since the unit is utilizing it's full resolution capabilities. But that, of course, requires additional hardware & cables running to/from the unit.

There are also some short-comings in the jpeg slide show feature that is built in, even if you want to use it in 480p mode. First of all, there is no option to specify length of time to display each photo, and the navigation to get the slide show running is very cumbersome. There is also no method to randomize the order of the photos. In other words, the whole jpeg viewer feature of this model leaves a great deal to be desired.

In summary, the unit looks good, the price is right, it has all sorts of input possibilities, and has a built-in DVD player. However, do not buy it if you are looking to use it as a digital photo viewer. You will be sorely disappointed. -- Good overall, but poor as a digital photo viewer.

The favi 19 inch tv is great!! The sound quality is excellent. We placed the tv in our sunroom and the screen readily adapts to bright light. It conveniently contains a dvd player , card reader and usb port for viewing photos on our camera. The company offers great support and communication.Will consider buying a bigger one in the future to replace other tvs. It is truly the best. -- best tv ever!!
